At Summer Wear Shop, we want you to be as stoked about your gear as you are about hitting the waves. If something isn’t quite right, we’ve made returns and exchanges as easy as catching a morning swell.
Our Return Promise
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. All items must be:
- Unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
- In original packaging with tags attached
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene reasons, we can’t accept returns on:
- Swimsuits (unless defective)
- Sandals (unless defective)
- Sunglasses (unless defective)
Defective items will be replaced at no cost – just contact our crew at [email protected].
How to Return or Exchange
Follow these simple steps to ride the return wave:
- Submit Your Request
Email us at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order with:- Your order number
- Item(s) you wish to return/exchange
- Reason for return
- Whether you want a refund or exchange
- Wait for Approval
Our crew will review your request within 2 business days and email you a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and shipping instructions. - Ship It Back
Package your items securely (we recommend using the original packaging) and include your RAN clearly marked on the outside. Send to: Summer Wear Shop Returns

Once we receive and inspect your return (allow 3-5 business days for processing):- Refunds: Will be issued to your original payment method within 5-7 business days
- Exchanges: We’ll ship your new item within 1-2 business days
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we sent the wrong product. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we can’t be responsible for items lost in transit.
Refund Details
Your refund will include:
- The item price
- Original shipping costs (if returning the entire order)
Note: Original payment processing fees and return shipping costs are non-refundable.

For our global surf family outside the U.S.:
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
- Customs fees are non-refundable
- Please mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional charges
